A dead zone used to mean a different site. Not anymore.

Connectivity failure at an outdoor event isn't just frustrating — it's a direct revenue hit. Point-of-sale systems go offline and vendor lines grind to cash-only. Attendee registration tablets stop syncing. Staff radios fall back to shouting. Live streams drop. And whoever organized the event takes the blame for every single one of those failures.

Fieldcast removes that risk entirely. We park a fully equipped Starlink station at your site, raise the access points, and have broadband broadcasting across a 500-meter radius — covering up to 5,000 sq ft of active event space — before your first attendee walks through the gate. No ISP lead time. No generator rental. No cable runs. No site negotiation about power access.

The rig is a Ford Transit Extended loaded with 800 watts of roof-mounted solar, a 10 kWh lithium battery bank, and enterprise-grade wireless infrastructure — the same hardware category used by large-scale outdoor productions, made fully mobile. Starlink's low-earth-orbit satellite network provides the uplink, delivering real broadband in locations where a cell tower has never been built and fiber will never be run.

Who we serve
1
Festivals, Fairs & Outdoor Events

Your vendors need point-of-sale. Your gate staff need registration syncing. Your production team needs livestream uplink. When half your crowd can't pay by card because the signal is gone, you feel it immediately — in lines, in complaints, in revenue. We keep every one of those systems live, from first gates to last call.

2
Outdoor Corporate & Private Events

Attendee check-in apps, registration kiosks, badge printing, real-time headcount — none of it works without a network. Off-site corporate events and private gatherings in remote locations need the same reliability as the office, without dragging the infrastructure along with you.

3
Film, Live Streaming & Production

Remote shoots need connectivity for video village, production software, and real-time dailies upload. Live-stream productions need stable, high-throughput uplink that a single saturated hotspot can't provide. We bring a dedicated, managed network to any field location — no cell signal required.

4
Emergency & Incident Response

When infrastructure is down, the teams managing the response can't afford to be in a dead zone too. Fieldcast stages within an hour of the call, giving emergency coordinators, medical personnel, and field crews a dedicated command network — completely independent of the infrastructure that failed.

You tell us where. We handle everything else.

01

Coverage planning

Tell us your site layout, expected attendance, and what's running on the network — point-of-sale terminals, registration tablets, livestream uplink, staff devices, public WiFi. We map coverage zones, identify any terrain or obstruction considerations, and deliver a written bandwidth plan before you commit to anything.

02

Day-of setup

We're on-site 90 minutes before your event opens. The van is positioned for optimal open-sky line-of-sight, access points elevated across your footprint, and the network tested against your specific use cases — POS handshake, registration sync, stream test. Live and confirmed before the first attendee walks in.

03

Live network management

A Fieldcast technician monitors the network in real time — device counts, bandwidth by SSID, signal health at the coverage edge. We can isolate POS traffic from public WiFi, throttle bandwidth hogs, and respond to issues in minutes. Not hours. Not a ticket queue.

04

Clean packdown & report

We break down cleanly at event close. Within 24 hours you receive a full network usage report — peak concurrent devices, throughput by hour, uptime log, bandwidth by traffic type. Every repeat event runs smoother than the last.

Not just a hotspot. A managed network built around your event.

Most temporary WiFi solutions are a consumer hotspot in a weatherproof case. Fieldcast runs enterprise network hardware — which means you control who gets what bandwidth, on which network, with your branding attached to it. These are the capabilities that separate a real network from a workaround.

Custom Branded SSIDs
Your event, your network name. We configure SSIDs to match your event or sponsor branding — attendees connect to FestivalName-WiFi or SponsorName-Guest, not a generic network. Up to 8 simultaneous named networks from a single deployment.
Included — Professional & above
Per-Device Bandwidth Caps
Set a ceiling on how much bandwidth any single attendee device can consume. A guest streaming a video doesn't degrade the experience for 200 other people. Caps are configurable per SSID — public WiFi gets capped, POS terminals get uncapped dedicated throughput.
Configurable per SSID
Traffic Prioritization (QoS)
Point-of-sale and registration traffic is always first. Our QoS configuration ensures that payment processing, attendee check-in, and staff comms have guaranteed throughput even when the public network is at peak load. Critical operations never compete with casual browsing.
POS & ops traffic protected
Captive Portal & Splash Page
When attendees join your public WiFi, they land on a custom-branded splash page before getting access — your logo, event info, sponsor recognition, or terms of use. Optional access codes for VIP networks. No third-party login required.
Branded & configurable
Network Isolation & VLANs
Staff, vendors, and attendees operate on completely separate network segments. A vendor on the POS network can't see attendee devices. Your production crew's VLAN is invisible to the public. Isolation is enforced at the hardware level — not a firewall rule that can be circumvented.
Hardware-level isolation
Live Monitoring Dashboard
Our on-site technician watches a live dashboard showing connected device count, per-SSID throughput, signal strength at coverage edges, and satellite link health. If something changes — a traffic spike, a device overloading the uplink — we see it before you do and respond immediately.
Real-time, on-site response
Live network preview
Type your event name and watch your network spin up.
Fieldcast configures every SSID before you arrive. Each network segment is isolated, named, and ready — attendees, vendors, staff, and press each connect to a network built for their specific role.
Amber networks carry QoS priority — POS and staff traffic is never deprioritized. Grey networks are capped per device. All segments are VLAN-isolated.

Coverage & limitations
Buildings & enclosed structures WiFi signals do not reliably penetrate solid building walls, thick concrete, or enclosed structures. Fieldcast is designed for open-air and outdoor deployments. Indoor coverage in nearby structures is not guaranteed and may require additional hardware.
Metal structures & vehicles Large metal objects — trailers, shipping containers, stage rigs, food truck clusters — can attenuate or block signal in their immediate shadow. We account for these during site planning; additional access points can be added to address known obstructions.
Satellite uplink requirements Starlink requires a clear view of the sky to operate. Dense tree canopy, canyon terrain, or locations with significant overhead obstruction can affect signal quality. We assess sky coverage during planning and will advise if a site presents uplink risk.
Speed & device count Real-world throughput and concurrent device capacity vary based on satellite conditions, terrain, device density, and network usage patterns. Published figures represent typical performance under standard outdoor conditions and are not guaranteed.
Performance disclaimer: Coverage radius, device capacity, download speeds, and deployment timelines represent typical performance under standard outdoor operating conditions. Actual results may vary based on satellite signal availability, terrain, obstructions, atmospheric conditions, and network demand. Fieldcast does not guarantee specific throughput speeds, coverage distances, or uninterrupted service. Clients with critical operational requirements are encouraged to discuss site-specific considerations during consultation. Additional access points or hardware may be required for complex or large-scale deployments and will be quoted separately.
